CONSTRUCT CONCEPT is a Berlin-based architectural firm. The work of the office ranges from material research and concept realisation to consultation on large public projects, with a focus on Architecture. An investigation into the veracity of accepted truths in technology and of the potentials of materials and construction techniques, often imported from fields outside of architecture and precise diagrammatic representation of architectural ideas are the foundations for every project. Michelle Howard and Shadi Rahbaran met while collaborating with OMA, where they were confronted with the challenges of representing, communicating, detailing and constructing projects of a highly conceptual nature. The unconditional intersection of concept and construct forms their fundamental approach to best practice in the discipline of architecture.
