with Shadi Rahbaran and Isabel da Silva
Rather than simply accommodate a fixed program, this project lays a structure for incremental growth through an interwoven fabric and furnishes fields of potential & interaction. The decentralisation of components promotes both inter & independence, allowing the redefinition of spatial use and sustainable interaction with the environment. A system in constant movement, it is adaptable & anticipatory generating cultural richness, diversity & growth.
Defined by natural boundaries this project integrates and interweaves facilities for arts production & performance with residential accommodation & agriculture. It proposes new ways of living, learning & working in the diversity that defines the Rainbow Nation
e traversing the urban fabric, the spaces around the buildings of equal importance to those within. Landscape & buildings are appropriated & defined according to artists. Some may seem specialised, climate boxes, schools, botanical gardens, but the creative process will transcend while viewers become active participants.
